Beatrice Eminson 800m Silver and Personal Bests for SpeedPro athletes at the 2025 SEAA Indoor Championships

Story By Bjorn Jansen

At the SEAA Indoor Championships, Beatrice Eminson delivered a strong performance in the 800m, needing a personal best to secure a spot in the final. In the final, she started strong, went through the first 200m in 30sec and passed 400m in 64/65 seconds, building a 10-second lead entering the final lap.  Beatrice narrowly missed gold by three-tenths, finishing in a time of 2:23.79 to claim silver.  This was a fantastic effort to produce that time out in front. Beatrice, ranked 4th in the UK, now prepares for the Indoor Nationals in February.

Amelia Barnes had a busy weekend, competing in the U15 60m and 200m. She recorded a season-best of 8.56sec in the 60m on day one and carried that form into the 200m on day 2.  Amelia ran a personal best of 27.97s in the 200m to advance to the semi-finals. Amelia is now preparing for Indoor Nationals in February.

Tommy Crosara showed great speed throughout the weekend. After reaching the semi-finals of the U15 60m semi-finals with a time of 7.62s, he narrowly missed the final. Tommy was back the next day, making it to the finals of the 200m.  He ran consistent times of 24.07s in the heats and 23.96s in the semi.  He finished 4th in the final, just 0.01 seconds off the bronze with a time of 23.98s. Tommy is now preparing for the Indoor Nationals in February.
