"SPEED" is our commitment to training and racing correctly, while "PRO" represents the progression to the pursuit of excellence.

Lead Coach
Bjorn is a UK Athletics-qualified coach and has been coaching at Hercules Wimbledon since 2013.
SpeedPro was founded by Coach Bjorn, a four-time All-American in the 200m and 400m, and a Junior and Senior Oceania and New Zealand Champion in the 200m and 400m.
Bjorn brings a proven track record of coaching athletes across the sprint-to-middle-distance pathway, from 100m to 1500m. His athletes have achieved success at county, regional, and national levels, including multiple English Schools and national medals. This breadth of experience allows him to guide athletes as they transition between events, developing speed, endurance, and race execution without losing their performance identity.
Bjorn uses his international racing experience and competitive knowledge to help athletes develop efficient movement and technique, train with purpose, and progress confidently through each stage of their development.
"At SpeedPro, we aim to create a community of passionate, performance-minded athletes of all ages and abilities." – Coach Bjorn.

Assistant Coach
Kate is an England Athletics-qualified assistant coach and qualified track judge (official). Kate's love for athletics and running began as a child at school. Competing in school and county-level competitions in cross-country and multi-athletic events with frequent participation in hurdles, long jump, shot put, 800m and 4x100m relay.
As an adult, Kate has completed many long-distance road races from 5km to marathon (all for the love of running rather than records!). She is passionate about keeping active and healthy for a sound body and mind. Kate has been assisting Hercules Wimbledon juniors coaching since her two children joined '7-ups' in 2017 and, from a volunteer role, gained coaching qualifications to help with a more regular commitment.
"I strongly believe in young athletes participating in training and competitions because they enjoy it. They can have masses of natural talent, but if they don't enjoy it or are competing under pressure or duress from others, they will not achieve their potential. As a parent, assistant coach, and official, I support, positively encourage, and safeguard all athletes we work alongside". - Coach Kate

Athletes' Representative
Neva is the athlete representative. Neva is part of the High-performance Potential squad for Discus and one of the UK's top junior discus throwers who understands the pressures of performing on the big stage as a Junior.
Neva's role as the Athletes' representative is to support all athletes across the programme, to encourage, support, listen and ensure the Athletes have someone they can communicate with.
Neva will play an active role during our training sessions and Live Workouts and has completed her Athlete Support qualification with UK Athletics. Neva volunteers as a coach across all events for the weekly 7ups sessions.
Whether your athlete is a sprinter or middle-distance runner, our proven system helps them progress.
