What ages is SpeedPro for?
Our main groups are for athletes aged 11+, with beginner and advanced squads available.
Do you offer coaching for beginners?
Absolutely. We work with athletes of all abilities, starting with technique and gradually building speed and strength.
Do you compete in club championships?
Yes. Our athletes compete proudly for Hercules Wimbledon AC or other clubs, but they train with us to get better results.
How is SpeedPro different from a regular athletics club or training groups?
Yes. SpeedPro offers small-group, personalised coaching that focuses on developing each athlete’s potential rather than just providing access to facilities.
Do I need to bring anything to the trial sessions?
They should bring suitable sports kit, trainers or spikes (if they have them), and a water bottle. We’ll take care of the rest.
What happens after the free trial?
We’ll discuss which training group fits your athlete and send you full joining information, including costs and memberships.
Is your coaching team qualified?
Yes, the SpeedPro Coaching team members are all qualified UK Athletics coaches; more details on Coach Bjorn's Power of 10 profile.
Do you have training/coaching sessions during the week?
We do have training sessions during the week at Hercules Wimbledon Athletic Club. If you are interested in joining the High-Performance Programme, please contact me.
